Shifters: A Guide- Shifters are much different than Weres. They are not limited to one animal form.
- Shifters are also not limited to shifting only at night. They can shift at any time of the day, though they are limited to how many times they can shift a day, according to age, and generation. For example, a male shifter in his 30's who is a second generation shifter can usually only shift twice in one day.
- Shifters are usually one in a generation. Their trait is a recessive gene passed down through their families. They have as far as we know, not bred into any group of Weres.
- Shifters do enjoy long life, though usually not to the same extent as a werewolf or vampire.
- Like Weres, Shifters enjoy greater strength, vision, hearing and agility, as well as speed while in their human form.
- Finally, Shifters tend to be loners, and not running with any particular pack or pard. They are generally accepted within the Were population though, and are not thought to be outcasts.
